Which version do I need?

N64 requires the unmodified USA release (12 MB), in .z64, .v64 or .n64 format. Arcade requires a complete, unmodified NBA Hangtime L1.1 ZIP. The patcher checks file contents, not just the name, and explains if your version does not match.

Does my ROM get uploaded?

No. Your selected file is read and patched on your device. Only the site's patch files are downloaded. Your original file is never overwritten.

Where can I play the result?

The N64 output is a .z64 ROM, tested with Mupen64Plus. The arcade download uses the nbahangt.zip filenames expected by MAME 2003-Plus. Keep that ZIP name. Other MAME versions can require different sets or filenames; compatibility is not universal.

What changes are included?

Three replacement players with gameplay heads, matching selection portraits and names, updated ratings, and the Legends title screen. Shaq and Barkley's ratings are estimates inspired by their playing styles. Shaq replaces Seikaly on N64 and Koncak in arcade L1.1. The original Kukoc remains. Announcer recordings are unchanged.
